About SafariWild Kenya

Welcome to SafariWild Kenya.

We are a Kenyan travel company with a simple goal: to help people experience Kenya in a way that feels genuine, personal, and memorable.

Since 2010, we’ve been creating safaris, holidays, and tailor-made trips for travelers who want more than simply ticking places off a list. We want you to experience Kenya properly; to see its wildlife, meet its people, discover its landscapes, enjoy its food and culture, and have the freedom to slow down and take it all in.

We know Kenya because it’s home. And that local knowledge shapes every trip we put together.

Our Story

SafariWild Kenya started in Nairobi with a love for this country and a belief that travel should be about more than sightseeing.

Our founders, who were born and raised in Kenya, wanted to create a company that could share the country they knew and loved while helping to protect the places and communities that make it special.

We started small, with a lot of enthusiasm and a deep knowledge of Kenya. Over the years, we’ve grown into an established safari and holiday company, but the way we work hasn’t changed much. We still believe in personal service, honest advice, and getting the details right.

From our Nairobi office, we now arrange everything from classic Kenya safaris and private tailor-made journeys to beach holidays and corporate retreats. We work with trusted partners across the country and draw on years of experience to help our guests choose the right places, camps, activities, and pace for their trip.

The People Behind Your Trip

A good safari is about much more than the vehicle or the lodge. It’s the people who make the experience come together.

Our team includes experienced guides, safari planners, reservation staff, drivers, and hospitality professionals who know Kenya well and genuinely enjoy sharing it with visitors.

Our guides, in particular, are at the heart of what we do. They know the parks, the wildlife, the roads, and the seasons. Many have spent years working in the bush and have a remarkable ability to spot things you might otherwise miss, such as a leopard hidden in the grass, fresh tracks on the road, or a bird you’d probably walk straight past.

But they also understand that every traveler is different. Some guests want to spend hours watching a pride of lions. Others want to photograph birds, learn about local communities, or simply enjoy the scenery. Our guides take the time to understand what you’re interested in and make the most of each day.

Behind the scenes, our Nairobi team and partners in the field keep everything running smoothly, from the first enquiry to the moment you return home.

Travelling Responsibly

Kenya’s wildlife and natural landscapes are the reason many people come here. Looking after them is therefore a responsibility we take seriously.

We aim to work with lodges, camps, guides, and local partners who share our approach to responsible tourism. That includes being mindful of water and energy use, reducing waste, respecting wildlife, and supporting businesses and people in the communities where we operate.

We also believe that tourism should benefit local communities. Wherever possible, we work with local staff, suppliers, guides, and community enterprises, helping to keep more of the value of tourism within Kenya.

When it comes to wildlife, we follow a simple principle: the animals come first. Our guides respect park and reserve rules and avoid behaviour that could disturb wildlife simply to get a better photograph or closer view.

We want our guests to have incredible sightings—but we want the wildlife to be comfortable too.

Let's Plan Your Journey

Maybe you’ve always wanted to go on safari. Maybe you want to see the Great Migration, spend a few quiet days on the Kenyan coast, climb a mountain, or put together a trip that combines wildlife, culture, and some time to relax.

Whatever you have in mind, we can help you build a trip around it.

Tell us what you’d like to experience, how you like to travel, and what matters to you. We’ll take it from there and help you put together a Kenya trip that feels right for you.

Kenya is waiting. Let’s explore it together.
